■TAMO
サーフィンをこよなく愛するグラフィックアーティスト。
ハワイ・カリフォルニア・オーストラリア・湘南などのビーチカルチャーに影響を受け、10代で出会ったサーフィンをバックボーンにPOSCAを使った独特のタッチで描く波や海の生き物はどれも躍動的。
日本が世界に誇る浮世絵から漫画へと連なる独自の文化と、サーフィンを通じて海や自然から感じるインスピレーションの融合を目指す。
<経歴>
大学でデザイン学科を卒業し、サーフ系アパレル会社に就職。
当時大ブームとなった『PIKO』をはじめ『RUSS-K』『DICK BREWER』のTシャツデザイナーとしてキャリアをスタート。同社では、日本のポップミュージック界を代表するロックバンド『サザンオールスターズ』のツアーグッズのデザインも担当した。
その後、販促関係のデザイン会社に転職しDTPとグラフィックデザイナーの経験を経て、『Hawaii Lifestyle Club』のクリエイティブディレクターに就任。『ハワイ手帳』やHLCオリジナルグッズのデザインだけでなく、WEBサイト制作、イベントの企画、ブランド戦略など総合的にプロデュースをおこなう。
また、『ハワイ州観光局』『JAL』『デルタ航空』『HIS』『ヒルトン・グランド・バケーション』などのハワイ観光業に携わる企業や、『Victor Entertainment』から発売された「アロハ・ヘヴン」、テラスハウス ALOHA STATEで注目されたミュージシャン『EDEN KAI』のCDジャケットなど企業案件のデザインを多数手がける。
2016年よりアーティスト活動を開始し、『Aloha Table』や『横浜ワールドポーターズ』などで展示会を開催。2019年ハワイ現地でおこなわれたアートイベント『The Old Blaisdell Bazaar』に招待され参加。2021年愛用のPOSCAを販売する三菱鉛筆が配信するオンラインレッスン『Lakit』の講師として出演する。
現在は、日本テレビの旅バラエティ番組『ハネノバス』トークライブ用メインビジュアルや、ホノルルを拠点とする高級ホテルチェーン『アウトリガー・ホテルズ＆リゾーツ』のプロモーションビジュアル、ゴルフブランド『WINWIN STYLE』とのコラボ商品開発、音楽系YouTuber『SeaBirdチャンネル』とのオリジナルギター制作など、ジャンルにとらわれず幅広く活動中。

He started his career as a T-shirt designer for “RUSS-K” and “DICK BREWER”, including “PIKO”, which was a big boom at the time. The company was also in charge of the design of tour goods for the rock band "Southern All Stars", which represents the Japanese pop music world.
After that, he moved to a promotional design company, gained experience as a DTP and graphic designer, and became the creative director of "Hawaii Lifestyle Club". In addition to designing "Hawaii Techo" and HLC original goods, he is also involved in comprehensive production such as website creation, event planning, and brand strategy.
In addition, companies involved in the Hawaii tourism industry such as Hawaii Tourism Bureau, JAL, Delta Air Lines, HIS, and Hilton Grand Vacations, as well as Aloha Heaven released by Victor Entertainment, Terrace He has designed many corporate projects such as CD jackets for EDEN KAI, a musician who gained attention at the house ALOHA STATE.
Started artist activities in 2016 and held exhibitions at "Aloha Table" and "Yokohama World Porters". In 2019, he was invited to participate in the art event “The Old Blaisdell Bazaar” held in Hawaii. In 2021, he will appear as a lecturer in the online lesson "Lakit" distributed by Mitsubishi Pencil, which sells his favorite POSCA.
Currently, the main visual for Nippon TV's travel variety program "Hanenobus" talk live, the promotional visual for Honolulu-based luxury hotel chain "Outrigger Hotels & Resorts", and the development of collaboration products with the golf brand "WINWIN STYLE". He is active in a wide range of genres, such as original guitar production with music YouTuber "SeaBird Channel".
